Best Places to Hang out in Queen Creek...
Where have the kids and I been hanging out lately?
Queen Creek Arizona, not the first place that comes to mind for great poker and fun times, but you would be wrong.
Lately, my husband and I have been hanging out at Don Pedro's, great mexican food, and awesome poker with great people. It's free poker, and I believe the last 2 tables earn points, The points which I don't have all of the details yet, but I believe that there is a chance to win a 1000.00 dollar seat at the WSOP so how cool is that. The winner of the nightly tournoment wins a $20 giftcard to eat at Don Pedro's, my husband won the other day so we are going back for lunch today, YUMMY. They play there every Thursday at 8:00 and Saturday at 9:00.
Last night we tried out the other poker place in town, the Gym, nice place, great food, and cheap beer if you can stand Coors! They had the month end poker tournament, it was great play, quite a turn out too! However I didn't win, I didn't even place in points, really bad night of poker play for me. They have their regular points games Monday and Wednesday at 8:00pm
The Boys love to skateboard so that's generally where you will find them hanging out. And I can't wait to check out the new Queen Creek library, It looks amazing, but I just haven't found the time to check it out yet
